I thought being a 'grown-up' would involve more freedom, but managing bills is stressful. Adulting wasn’t as cool as I imagined.
Failure hits different in adulthood. In school, it’s just part of learning, but adulthood feels like the stakes are much higher.
I thought being a business owner would mean freedom, but I spend more time working than I ever did as an employee.
Why does money bring so many people stress? I mean, the goal is to feel free, not tied down by a bill or a budget, isn’t it?
Honestly, getting older has some perks—like finally not caring what others think. Isn't that freeing?
Am I expected to accept that just because something was fun in childhood, it can't be part of adult life? Why not?
Going to school was supposed to prepare me for life, but I didn’t really learn about taxes or how to fix a leaky faucet!
